Our aim is to help build a machine that can reduce the possibility of mishaps in navigation to zero. For that devise a new system of numbers, in which the real numbers are represented on the y-axis and complex numbers on the x-axis. Inside such a system, we incorporate the equivalent Ideal Fuzzy Logic that can be used by the machine to predict and avoid mishaps.

Natural processes are vastly emergent phenomena and each new result is always the source of new emergence. To cope with nonlinear control problems, binary logic is no longer sufficient. What we need is an ideal Fuzzy Logic that not only can process complex numbers with utmost efficiency, but also ‘thinks’ in terms of complex numbers. Such a system also needs to be as simple as possible for us and for machines to work with.

A perfectly efficient navigation system will be able to receive inputs that have all sets of possible values. These values may be real or imaginary. Such a system will be particularly efficient in dealing with imaginary numbers and will be able to reduce the probability of a mishap to zero.

Abstraction and Structures in Energy

Zero postulation and the principles of the Theory of Abstraction are used to study structures of energy inside a black hole, which is incredibly heavy and incredibly small. We chase the questions, how matter (with various structures) is formed from energy and the energy making up matter has to be in what orientation to form the matter that we see. We arrive at the fundamental model and the equations describing the formation of structure in energy.

Abstraction and the Standard Model

Description:

We study the Standard Model in light of the Zero-Postulation of the Theory of Abstraction. Yukawa Coupling, chiral superfields, the SUSY model, Interacting Boson Models (IBMs), Clebsch-Gordan coefficients, Interacting Boson-Fermion Model (IBFM), etc., are some of the concepts that we study in this paper. Non-commutative geometry seems to come very handy in describing the quantum world. Bosons and fermions both seem to be governed by the rules of such geometry. The principle of conservation of boson number inside a system is seen to follow directly from the Abstraction Model. The IBMs are seen to obey the Laws of Physical Transaction that follows from Zero-Postulation. The chaotic superfields at the requisite scaling-ratio yields necessary equation-parameters needed to describe them at that given scaling-ratio. This is seen to be independent of the choice of scale, but at smaller scaling-ratios, we have less loss of information. At a higher scale, we seem to have less number of parameters required to describe them.

The Projects We Started This Year Are Rolling Smoothly Now

The Open Education Project

Started a few months back, this project now boasts a long list of books and educational materials. All contents are licensed under CC-BY, enabling smooth sharing of the works. India has around 30 major languages and we have a long way to go before we have a comprehensive collection of educational materials in all these vernacular languages. However, things are already looking up as we have started to get content in the regional languages too. We are about to take the project to the next level by starting a system of publishing original content from authors.

Open Data Project

In India, there is a lot of scope for involvement of the masses in order to work towards making ourselves a better managed nation. Constitutional instruments like the Public Interest Litigation (PIL), the Right To Information (RTI), etc., lose their relevance without complete transparency in the dissemination of government as well as non-government data. Building a mass-based system of knowledge-banks can help us a lot in achieving our goal. We can assist the governments for making more information public, wherever necessary.

Open Science and Research Project

We are working to implement Open Access to all research done and have built a large community of supporters. Open Access India has probed to be a major success in spreading the word. However, we have still a long way to go. Our aim is not only Open Access but Open Research. In near future, we have a few plans that we would like to implement regarding this. A Study of the Indus Signs

Considering the fact that the Harappan script may have been proto-Brahmi, the underlying language to be expected should be Sanskrit, or proto-Sanskrit, or derivatives of Sanskrit. Many of the rules of evolution that apply to scripts are equivalently true for languages too. Like scripts, languages too render themselves to similar evolutionary inspections, as they too carry imprints of their journey down the ages.

Hamiltonian Dynamics in the Theory of Abstraction

Description

This paper deals with fluid flow dynamics which may be Hamiltonian in nature and yet chaotic.Here we deal with sympletic invariance, canonical transformations and stability of such Hamiltonian flows. As a collection of points move along, it carries along and distorts its own neighbourhood. This in turn affects the stability of such flows.
